I have to admit I thought the FREE DRIVER email I received was a come-on which could cost me a lot of dough, but all the interactions with Patriot Golf have been, most importantly, enhancing my 57-years experience with golf – 12 hcp and improving again to start shooting at least my age (76) or better regularly, reinforcing my belief that satisfactory customer service usually starts with the CUSTOMER, and the satisfaction of patronizing a start-up, Veteran-run/supportive company who lives up to the American way of business of providing a great product/service at a reasonable price.

I replaced my old PING irons (including wedges – the Patriots are VERY nice – with Patriot irons and my tee and fairway metals with their D, 3, 5, and first-time HEAVEN (7) metals – walking away from my 3, 4, and A irons (i.e., I’d rather hit to a green high rather than low). I have kept my old TaylorMade driver in my bag until I get my B2 Driver reshafted to ‘regular’ vs ‘senior’ (my mistake, but Patriot is making the change for me). And, in the process of putting together the bag of clubs I’m planning on swinging ’til I’m dead, I’ve dealt with some of the best customer service folk EVER!

FINAL NOTES: I’m not into hybrids, but many seem to like Patriot’s selection, the free sampling of balls they sent me are quality-produced and competitively priced, and I hope they offer a selection of good, reasonably-priced putters before long. Does anyone else remember when the putters the pros used were $17 each? I’ve still got a few of ’em!

I just got great support from Carol at Patriot Golf! This year I received a new driver from Patriot. After a few months of play, I contacted them about problems I was having with it and they listened to me and understood. Carol quickly agreed to send me a new, upgraded driver to replace the one I was having problems with. I really like my Patriot clubs. They are far less expensive than the brands sold on PGA golf programs, and they hit clean and straight. I’ve taken 6 strokes off my handicap this year and one of the reasons is that I replaced my old Pings with Patriot clubs. The Pro at my club commented to me that these clubs are a better match for my play than the Pings he used to watch me play with.
